- Grumpy uber drivers who complain about their night while driving you.
- Why do Uber drivers think it's okay to complain to customers?
- They've had a long work shift and use human interaction to take their mind off their issues.
- CVS/Publix employees who try to put your five items in a plastic bag rather than let you carry it.
- Why don't they just let me carry my items?
- It's store policy and that's how they are trained.
- Walking down the hallway and hitting my knee/shin on an object that I didn't notice.
- Why don't my eyes always see everything and keep me from running into things?
- My eyesight isn't perfect.
- Going to the gas station and all the gas pumps are taken and there's a line at the counter inside.
- Why is there a line at the gas station?
- People believe that there is a hurricane coming and are preparing for it.
- Waiting at the bus stop because the Rider app says the bus is almost there and then you have to wait for ten minutes.
- Why does the app not work all the time?
- It is mediocre technology.
- Putting your phone down for a second to put away your clothes or getting something out of your backpack and then you forget where you put it down and spend five minutes looking for it.
- Why do I space out sometimes?
- My short-term attention span is not the best.
- Having a car for your entire freshman year of college and then getting it taken away because your younger brother got his license.
- Why does my car get taken because my younger brother got his license?
- His high school is 30 minutes away.
- Birds pooping on your windshield or on you.
- Why do birds poop on windshields/people?
- Because they are animals and cannot help it.
- Coming home late at night to your room but your roommate locked it and you do not have the keys to get in.
- Why does my roommate lock the door so much?
- It is a safety reason.
- When you are driving and playing music with your phone but it falls through the crack between your seat and the middle console.
- Why is that crack between the seat there? It does nothing important.
- It allows the seat to move back and forth for different sized people.
- Driving to McDonald's on University to get a single cheeseburger but the drive-thru is completely packed so now you don't know where to go for your cheap meal of the day.
- Why does McDonald's get so busy?
- It's a huge corporation that sells cheap food making it very popular for a college town.
- Walking on the sidewalk and you don't pick your feet up enough so your foot catches on the ground and you essentially trip over nothing.
- Why will my foot trip up after I have spent a whole day walking perfectly?
- Humans are not perfect.
- Going to the bathroom but not realizing that that specific stall is out of toilet paper until that worst possible moment.
- Why don't people replace toilet paper more frequently?
- It is not a big enough deal that would get you fired from a job so it is not the most important part of someone's shift.
- When you leave your phone charger in someone else's car but then they sell the car before you can get the charger back.
- Why did they sell their car with someone else's phone charger in it?
- They didn't know there was a phone charger in there, they were trying to do a good deed for someone else.
- My bed being five feet off the ground and only accessible by me jumping into it.
- Why is my bed not on the ground?
- Because it is a cramped room and provides way more space by having the beds hang from the ceiling, creating room beneath.
- Getting out of class to find the sky full of dark clouds and the busses are done running.
- Why does it rain so much in Gainesville?
- Gainesville is literally a swamp.
- Sitting on the bus going to class but your phone keeps dropping the UF wifi connection so you can't listen to music.
- Why does my phone keep losing connection?
- It is an outdated iPhone 6
- Going to do laundry but all the machines are being used.
- Why don't we have enough laundry machines for everyone?
- Because I live with 49 other people.
- Having a class during dinner so you have to get a late plate but it still gets eaten so you don't get any dinner.
- Why don't people respect me enough to not take my dinner?
- Because they probably forgot to ask for a late plate and are hungry so take someone else's using the "Us vs Them" mentality.
- Setting an alarm on your phone for the next morning but your phone dies overnight so you oversleep.
- Why does my phone die overnight?
- Because my phone charger got sold with a car.
Normally I do not consider myself a very picky person and always try to be in a positive mood so making a list of all of these bugs was fairly difficult for me. After making the list I am fairly content knowing that the majority of my issues are things that are out of my control, meaning that they are not direct responses to choices that I have made. This is relieving because problems that are caused by your own decisions are very inconvenient because it means that your own decisions are creating problems for your life. People who are unable to change themselves in order to prevent these kinds of problems are more mature and capable of having a more positive and productive day.
